In our early days of marriage i know i’ve felt that same thing or at least thought it. Desire god’s best for your spouse God is not a man that he should lie and will remain true to his word.

Then i came into god’s presence and prayed for him to transform me, so that i could be at peace with my husband. It was not the life to be lived by a normal person. I have to quietly raise my hand here.

But god wants you to treat your spouse as they deserve also, and that starts with desiring the best for them. There are still devotions i wish husband would lead our family in, but they are devotions i am drawn to, not him. I kept calling to god desperately in my heart to help me desist from committing senseless acts.

God has given us one another. When your husband is actually ready to step up and lead, be there to support him. God will show you who to pursue and when to pursue her.

His timing is so perfect. God wants you to have a happy marriage, and to have a spouse who treats you like you deserve to be treated.

God’s timing is perfect and when it’s time your husband will come. Nothing major has happened to you at the moment, and you do not bear great testimony, but. Pray for his career, his decisions, his finances, his relationship with god.

Pray that god will make him what he needs to be for you and to make you what he needs as a help mate. Let your spouse work it out with god. But through studying what it means to be submission and to let my husband lead, i came to realize that while yes, our husbands absolutely do need to eventually step up to the plate, i wasn’t really letting him lead.

Sometimes god will deal with you about marriage but it’s in regards to being married to him, not to a physical husband.
